Jharkhand Class 12 Result: Girls outshine boys in Science and Commerce

Girls have once again outperformed boys in both the Science and Commerce streams under the Jharkhand Class 12 result 2025.

In Science: Girls passed at 80.53%, boys at just 48.43%
In Commerce: 95% of girls cleared the exam vs 86% boys

Post-Result Processes

Students who are dissatisfied with their results or have failed in any subject can apply for revaluation or supplementary exams. Last year i.e. in 2024, the overall pass percentage of JAC 12thwas around 85.48%. Whereas in 2023 this percentage was 88.67%. In the year 2024, 72.70% students passed in Science stream, 90.60% in Commerce and 93.16% in Arts. Also, about 89.22% students passed in Vocational stream.

Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has declared the Jharkhand Board 12th results today. The 12th results were declared by Ramdas Soren, Minister of School Education and Literacy Department, Jharkhand. The Secretary was also present on this occasion.

Today only the results of Science and Commerce stream have been released, the result of Arts will be released soon. Apart from JAC’s official website jacresults.com and jac.jharkhand.gov.in , students can also check their results on Aaj Tak’s website risenews.in . The result link became active at 12:30 pm.

JAC Secretary Jayant Mishra said that this year out of a total of 98,634 students in the science stream, 78,186 appeared for the exam and 79.26% students passed. This year’s pass percentage is 7% higher than last year. Whereas in the commerce stream, 91.2% students passed. This year 22,066 students were registered in the commerce stream, out of which 20,285 passed.
