Pakistan Cyber ​​Force claimed Cyber ​​Attack:‘Dance of the Hillary’

An X handle named Pakistan Cyber ​​Force claimed that they obtained sensitive data from the websites of Indian Military Engineering Service (MES) and Manohar Parrikar Institute of Defense Studies and Analysis (MP-IDSA). This may include login credentials and personal information of defence personnel. However, the senior management of MP-IDSA has denied these claims.

Pakistani Virus: Dance of the Hillary’: Website defacement:

Pakistani hackers tried to deface the website of Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL) by replacing the picture of an Indian tank with a Pakistani tank. The AVNL website was taken offline for a security audit.

In addition, the websites of Army Public Schools, healthcare website for ex-servicemen, and Indian Air Force Veterans were also targeted.

Pakistani Virus: Other cyber attacks:

Some posts on X claimed that Pakistani hackers hacked the website of the secondary education department of Rajasthan and left the message that “the next war will not be with bullets, but with technology.”

Another post said that Pakistan tried to obtain information about the activities of the Indian Army by sending emails in the name of information about the Pahalgam attack.

If you receive a file named ‘Dance of the Hillary’ from an unknown number or account through your WhatsApp, Email or any social media, then do not open it even by mistake. Actually, this is a cyber attack on India. Not only the file named ‘Dance of the Hillary’, but you should not tap on any file of tasksche.exe format or .exe format.

With this type of cyber attack, attackers can easily access your device and private data and use it for wrong work. In such a situation, if you have received any such file or video, then be careful and do not click on that video or file at all. Apart from this, many X handles have been blocked, which were sharing wrong information related to the war.

India’s response “Operation Sindoor”:

Indian cybersecurity experts and agencies are monitoring cyberspace to detect additional attacks.

Indian banks have also strengthened their cybersecurity to avoid cyber threats.

In some cases, such as the attacks by the IOK hacker group, the Indian Army acted promptly and thwarted the attacks.

These cyber attacks may be in response to “Operation Sindoor” launched by India after the Pahalgam attack, in which India attacked nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and PoK.

Pakistan termed these attacks as attacks on “civilian targets” and threatened retaliation.
