MP NEET UG Merit List 2025 Released: The admission process for MBBS and other undergraduate medical courses in Madhya Pradesh has gained momentum. The Professional Undergraduate Medical Courses Admission Committee (ACPUGMEC) has released the state level merit list for admission to 85% state quota seats for candidates who have passed NEET UG 2025. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh has released the state level NEET UG 2025 merit list for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. Students who had applied online for MP State Combined Counseling can now check their name in the merit list by visiting the official website dme.mponline.gov.in or medadmgujarat.org .
This year, a total of 15,129 candidates have been included in the merit list who had registered for the counselling process of Madhya Pradesh after clearing NEET and have been declared eligible for admission to government and private medical and dental colleges across the state.
MP NEET UG Merit List 2025 Released: Aagam Jain becomes NEET UG topper in Madhya Pradesh with AIR 45
The Madhya Pradesh NEET UG 2025 merit list has been topped by Aagam Jain ( AIR 45) . He scored 656 out of 720 marks in NEET UG 2025 and secured an all-India rank of 45. He is followed by Arshan Ali ( AIR 533) , who scored 617 marks and secured an all-India rank ( AIR) of 533.
Mukund Maheshwari scored 601 marks and secured All India Rank (AIR) 1295, coming in third place. He is followed in fourth place by Eva Jain ( AIR 1460), who scored 599 marks and secured All India Rank (AIR) 1460. He is followed in fifth place by Taran Srivastava ( AIR 1512) , who scored 598 marks and secured All India Rank ( AIR) 1512.

Documents Required after MP NEET Merit List 2025
After the Madhya Pradesh NEET UG merit list 2025 is released, the official body, Directorate of Higher and Technical Education (DHE), manages the registration for counselling. During this stage, all the eligible candidates will have to undergo document verification conducted by the state authority, followed by the final stages of admission to MBBS/BDS programmes.
Candidates are allotted document verification centres, which are essentially their preferred medical centres. Candidates must prepare the following required documents for Madhya Pradesh NEET 2025 counselling:
- Class 10th certificate of the candidate
- Class 12th certificate and mark sheet of the candidate
- Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Residence Certificate (required for Madhya Pradesh candidates)
- NEET UG 2025 Admit Card
- NEET UG 2025 Result/Scorecard
- Government ID card (like Aadhaar card, voter ID card, passport, etc.)
- 6 recent colour passport size photographs

Next Steps in the Medical Admission Process
The choice filling and locking process for Madhya Pradesh natives will begin on July 31, 2025 and continue till August 4, 2025. The result of Round 1 will be declared on August 6, 2025. Selected candidates will have to complete document verification and reporting between August 7 and 11. After this, the option of online admission withdrawal and upgradation will be available from August 7 to 16, 2025.
There is a shortage of 300 MBBS seats this year
This year, the total number of MBBS seats in state medical colleges has come down to 4,775 from last year’s 5,075 seats, a reduction of about 300 seats. Of these, 2,638 seats are in government medical colleges, of which 393 are reserved for the All India quota and 29 under the Government of India quota. A total of 1,862 seats under the state quota will be filled through counselling for students who are natives of Madhya Pradesh.
2,200 MBBS and BDS seats available in private colleges
There are 2,200 MBBS seats available in private medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh this year. Of these, 335 seats are reserved under the NRI quota, while 1,679 seats are for the open category. For dental courses, there are 1,170 BDS seats available in private colleges, of which 922 are for the open category.
