Jharkhand Assembly Elections: BJP’s Panchpran Manifesto released, many big promises including 5 lakh jobs

 

Ranchi: Amid preparations for the Jharkhand assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today unveiled its Panchpran Manifesto, in which many big promises have been made to the public.

The BJP has announced to create 5 lakh jobs for the youth, fill 2.87 lakh government jobs and provide financial assistance to women.

Apart from this, it has also been promised to provide LPG cylinders to every family for Rs 500 and two free cylinders in a year.

Key announcements of BJP’s Panchpran Manifesto:

1. Gogo Didi Yojana:

Under this scheme, every woman in the state will be given financial assistance of ₹ 2,100 every month, which will be deposited in their bank accounts on the 11th of the month. The initiative aims to improve the economic condition of women.

2. Laxmi Johar Yojana:

All households in the state will be provided LPG cylinders for just ₹500. Apart from this, two free cylinders will also be given in a year to reduce the burden on the household budget.

3. Assured Employment Scheme:

The BJP has promised to create 5 lakh self-employment opportunities in the next five years and fill 2.87 lakh vacant government posts in a transparent manner. The party aims to complete 1.5 lakh recruitments by 2025, the implementation of which will begin after the first cabinet meeting.

4. Yuva Sathi Allowance Scheme:

Undergraduate and postgraduate students will be given an allowance of ₹2,000 every month to help them in their education and career building. The scheme will be in force for two years, providing relief to students in coaching and other educational expenses.

5. Ghar Saakar Yojana:

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 21 lakh new houses will be constructed and an additional assistance of ₹ 1 lakh will be given for every house. Apart from this, a target has been set to provide tap water to 59 lakh houses by 2027. Free sand will also be arranged for house construction.

BJP’s election strategy:

Through this Panchpran manifesto, the BJP has promised a prosperous and empowered state in Jharkhand. The party has tried to attract the attention of the public by giving special emphasis on employment, women empowerment and housing schemes. Now it remains to be seen what impact these promises have on the electoral politics of Jharkhand and how much support the BJP gets.
